Challenge #27: Something from a cookbook that came with an appliance

OK, so hopefully we all had a great festive season, and maybe some of us got some new gadgets for Christmas, or bought some with Christmas money, or bought something for a new year's resolution maybe? Most kitchen appliances come with suggested recipes to cook in/with/on them. So lets have a go at some of those.

It can be any appliance or gadget you like, and you can modify the recipe if you like, but the base recipe should come from an appliance cookbook :)

I'm not sure I've got any appliances for which I still have the recipes, but I'll look forward to reading other people's offerings...

You mean there are people who don't throw those out as soon as they open the box?

I always read them through at least once to laugh at them.

Though maybe if I feel like wasting perfectly good ingredients I will try making sponge cake in a sandwich toaster; I've always wondered if that actually works.

The appliance's cookbooks are kinda crap (maybe a dozen recipes, tops), but one of the companies made a mobile *APP* with additional recipes.

Would the app count?

*raises hand*. Either I put them in a basket with other such books (if there are lots of recipes), in the filing drawer (if it is mostly instructions), or I send them to a friend who is a food historian.
