Oh! That makes sense. I thought you were telling me that you thought what I'd made was a specific frozen dessert! My knowledge of french is pretty minimal.

(and google tells me that the dessert got its name from the french word, but that the one I know isn't quite the english dessert by that name, and definitely isn't the french dessert by that name. )
