Challenge #24: Slow Cooked Food

This week's challenge is to make something slow cooked. This can be done in a slow cooker/crockpot, or in a casserole dish in the oven, or even slow-roast some meat or something.

My dad used to have a pressure cooker when I was a kid, so I think of them as a seventies thing, but when we watched Back In Time For Dinner we discovered that they go back as far as the thirties!

I've never actually used one myself.

The newfangled electric ones don't have the risk of the ones in the past of the lid blowing off like you see in movies. My parents had one of the old style and while it never did that, the noise used to make me nervous.

Yeah, ours used to be quite noisy.
