I hope things cool down by this weekend so I feel the urge to cook since I love me some ginger. It's not even 10am and it's nearly 80F out there. It's supposed to get close to 90F for the next three days. BLECCH. *hates summer*

My dad brough me a ginormous carrier bag of leeks from his allotment last night, so I currently have a slow cooker full of embryonic leek and potato soup on the go...
