Challenge #2: Italian!

In a blatant attepmt to get matgb to post about his home made pizza... this week's challenge is Italian! I'm not going to specify sweet or savoury, or indeed anything, so if you want to do pesto or ice cream you guys knock yourselves out. I shall be posting my recipe in a couple of days :)

I made Southern Fried Chicken tonight. Never done it before. AND I did a Quorn version for Mat, which he said was very nice.

I think it was a bit plain. Next time I'll marinade the chicken first.

Will try and take part this week. Had a bit of a hectic week the past week, so not had a chance to do anything for the previous challenge. :(

Drat, forgot to post. I made an off-the-cuff salad for supper when I got in on Sunday night: spinach, plum tomatoes, one mozzarella pearl chopped up very small so as to go further, and black olives, with a dressing made from olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper and mustard.

That's ok! There's no deadline for submissions; it's not like I haven't been late with the challenge 2 weeks out of 3 ;)
